Bangkok

Traveling is something that excites me greatly ! I love that feeling when I am going somewhere where I have not been before. It does not really matter if the destination is 50 or 5000 miles away from my home. Adventure and taste of unknown is the same..

I had an enormous pleasure to visit Bangkok for our first wedding anniversary. It is difficult to say why we chose that city for that occasion but I have no regrets. It is such a vibrant place, never in my life I have seen so much street food, traffic, taxis and life going on…

We visited Bangkok in September and the weather was very hot and humid. Even traveling from one spot in the capital to another seemed like a proper challenge. Transport wise taxis are available anywhere and they are cheap but be prepared to be stuck in traffic !! You can also travel by boat (public or private), Skytain, tuk-tuk, motorbike taxi or bus.

There is so much to see in Bangkok that spending a week there is not enough.. My personal favourite attractions include:

  • Wat Pho (Reclining Buddha is enormous and absolutely breath-taking..)
  • Grand Palace complex a must even if You in Bangkok for a day
  • Floating market (we visited Taling Chan Market- real experience…)
  • Jim Thompson house and shop- simply beautiful !
  • Blue Elephant restaurant- real institution in Bangkok, Thai cuisine at its best !

Be my guest and enjoy Thai hospitality which is one of the best I have ever experienced..

When you discover that you are popular in Thailand..

I feel that every time I travel I benefit not only from amazing memories and pictures. I change and grow as a person and that is something that keeps me going until I have the next chance to escape my daily grind.

Please let me know if You liked traveling with me and let me know where would You like to go next ?

Love,

Aggie xx
