What I wore Sunday… country life is never boring

Living close to nature is something that me going and helps me to relax and switch off. During my days off and weekends, I can just be myself. No noise, distractions and hustle and bustle of the big city. The beauty of my surroundings is truly spectacular ! Almost every village is really special and picture-perfect xx

For today’s outgoing I decided to wear this very old Zara dress, I had in my closet for at least six years… I can still remember the excitement when I bought in Zara in Leeds and I how much I loved it ever since. It is of an exceptional quality that will hopefully stand the test of time. I pair this dress with my new espadrilles and favourite summer bag.

Espadrilles are such a classy choice for summer and I hope that I will be able to style these quite a few times before the beginning of autumn. I went for a black pair from Castaner and I cannot be more happy with my purchase. They are beautifully well-made and also extremely comfortable despite of the hight !

So without the further delay that is what I wore Sunday !!

  1. Hi, Aggie
I’ve been walking through pretty Sussex villages today (8 miles). Bosham and Chidham on the coast. Very pretty and very expensive, too. A beautiful sunny day and lovely views.
Oh, Aggie. Your little blue and white dress is devine. And suits you so. It looks like a skater dress (is it? ), and with your good figure and nice legs carry the look off to perfection. And with that cute little bag and shoes can only add, Wow!!

    1. Thank you very much Jo !!
I hope you have enjoyed your walk xx
The dress is a little bit like a skater dress but is more structured than flared.
The fabric is very thick and holds its the shape.
I am glad you like it xx

  2. Oh, I did. Very much in deed. Much better than the ones shown under here, here and here. What was I thinking, writing skater dress. It’s more fit and flare possibly. I can see the good quality of the material.

  3. Hi, Aggie
It’s late, I know. But I was thinking you would look soo pretty in a flared tea length dress.
Such a feminine look. I’m sure they would suit you. xx

      1. Oh, yes. You really must. Try a 50s style one that comes just below your knees. The pretty floral ones are gorgeous and so swishy It’s the perfect look for when walking around your lovely village.
