What I wore Sunday… my uniform for this time of the year

Autumn for me is all about layering. I love the idea of putting on few layers of different fabrics that will keep me nice and warm. I like to mix texture and colours to add my personal stamp on what I have decided to wear that day.

The outfit that you see today is not particularly ground-breaking but representative on how I like to dress these days. I want to feel comfortable but put together at the same time… Favourite colours of greys, blues and khaki are my go to combination !

To make this outfit a little bit more ‘special’ I added a brooch that I bought some time ago and did not have a chance to wear much. I think brooches are such handy pieces of jewellery that add that something extra to almost every outfit. The brooch can be silver or gold, designer or not, choices are endless !

So without further delay that is what I wore Sunday !

What I wore Sunday… colours of autumn

Autumn seems to be a favourite season of most people and I am no exception. I love the leaves and their change in colours and something about cosy nights in. I love the knitwear, scarfs and the chance to change my wardrobe and go back to the things I loved so much last year.

Surprisingly, despite late October it still feels fairly warm where I live. I have not worn a single coat yet and may leave it until November. So today’s outfit is not particularly season focused, it is something I feel comfortable wearing all year round. Leather jacket and a pair of skinny jeans are just easy to dress up or down and something that I relay on a lot. Adding my favourite pair of sneakers and slouchy knit and I am ready to go !

If there was only one item of clothing, I would recommend to get for autumn it would be a classic knit. It can be colour and style of your choice, made out of quality fabric that will last season after season. The excitement of taking it out and wearing it again after the summer will make it even more special next year.

So that is what I wore this autumnal Sunday !

What I wore Sunday… last weekend of autumn

I have probably mentioned countless amount of time but I love autumn. It is by far my favourite season and the colours are to die for. I do not mind the occasion rain and temperature drop that much.

The pictures taken for today’s post are quintessentially autumnal. The colours of the leaves and my outfit are all reflecting my love and appreciation of the season. I could not be happier with those shots and I hope it shows.

The outfit of the day consists of my favourite pieces that kept me warm and comfortable. My favourite parka, pair of jeans I cannot stop wearing lately and the new scarf that I have already mentioned here. I like to feel dress appropriately and this outfit provided just that.

Being comfortable in yourself is a key. Knowing what you like but also taking under consideration what suits your body shape and size is something that I consider with every outfit. This one is totally me and I would be happy to wear it every single day (maybe with occassional twist !).

That is what I wore last Sunday !

What I wore Sunday… my neighborhood

Living in a countryside surrounded by pretty English villages was never my dream. I love big city and accessibility of modern culture, shops etc. But somehow over the years my priorities have changed and peace and quite is what I care for.

On this particular Sunday afternoon we went shopping and all the pictures for today’s post were taken after our trip to town. The village location for this shoot could not have been more perfect. I love the feel of this place so much so that every time I visit, I promise myself to come more often.

As for the outfit of the day, I could not resist wearing this coat from Zara, first shown here. The quality of the fabric is superb and as it is very oversized, you can fit quite a few layers underneath. I paired it with all black outfit and the most comfortable pair of shoes I own. They are my favourite work shoes and would recommend a pair of these to anyone. The ones shown here are by English brand Church’s. I got introduced to this brand quite some time ago now and without a shadow of a doubt I can say they are the best and most comfortable shoes you will ever get !

Without further delay that is what I wore (this sunny) Sunday !

Brighton vlog

Today I have a pleasure of sharing my weekend away with you all ! We traveled to Brighton for few days and although the choice of the destination was quite an unusual one, I have no regrets.

Brighton is full of contrasts and as it is a seaside town, it has a lot features typical for that. I loved the old buildings and lots of tiny side streets along with the promenade and variety of cafes and bars. On the other hand, I have seen a lot of poverty and homelessness. First impressions are not always the right ones so I will let you decide for yourself !

Enjoy my vlog and if you liked it, check out my channel for more fashion, travel and beauty related content.

Let me know you thoughts as well as any recommendations and suggestions for more gateways ?

Thank you very much for stopping by.
