What I wore Sunday… best of the high street

Shopping on the high street can be a very good experience, not only because items are generally more affordable but also due to some amazing quality finds. There are a lot of pieces that are not worth your time and money but if you look a little bit deeper, you will find some treasures.

The dress shown today is from H&M and it comes from collaboration between the clothing giant and the fabric designer GP & J Baker. They are famous for their prints and with more than 100 years of tradition, the collection does not disappoint.

When I saw this dress first, I was not sure if the style was something that would suit me but when I tried it I knew instantly that I love it. Wrap dress as a style is completely new to me but with this dress being such a hit, I will shop it in the future.

The rest of the outfit is nothing that you have not seen before. My trusted pair of sandals and a cross-body bag that goes well with most of my outfits.

So that is all I wore last Sunday !

What I wore Sunday… London affair

My affair with London started more than a decade ago. I had a pleasure of getting to know the city in my early twenties, firstly as a holidaymaker and later as an exchanges student. I know that it is not a place where I could live on a daily basis but I enjoy coming back every few months to experience this cosmopolitan and fascinating city.

We have taken all the pictures for today’s post in Mayfair. It is one of the oldest and most well-known parts of the London and as I was surrounded by designer shops and boutiques it seemed like a perfect location.

London with its diversity is full of contrasts. Wealth and poverty are very close neighbours. I always felt (and still do) intimidated by opulence and luxury but somehow London takes it to another level. You can never be too overdress here… So for this afternoon outgoing I decided to wear something that will give me a confidence boost !!

This Maje dress is last season find that I have managed to get in Bicester Village. It is a very unusual print and length for me but I love it. I wanted to buy it last year, however, the price put me off number of times. I am glad that I have resisted the temptation as I manage to get it at almost 40 % in the outlet… The rest of the outfit is my staples that you have seen number of times. I am still in love with these sandals and I am determined to wear them as many ways as it is possible.

So that is what I wore Sunday !!

What I wore Sunday… day in Siena

As you may know I have spent the last week in Italy. It was a dream come true for me as I only visited Italy once in my life a very long time ago… I enjoyed every minute of my Italian adventure and I promise to share more of that on my blog in the coming weeks.

Today I am taking you to Siena which is the place I have not visited before but I would highly recommended. It has unbelievable charm and very relaxed vibe with the fan-shaped square Piazza del Campo in the middle of it all that offers spectacular views of this medieval town. Every corner is just picture perfect and every building is decorated with beautiful and colourful doors and shutters. Piazza del Campo itself is considered one of the greatest medieval squares in the whole Europe !

I am not going to lie it was a very hot day. That was one of the reason why I decided to wear white dress and a hat which was a pretty accessory but most importantly it protected me from the immense heat and sun. This dress seemed to me like a perfect choice for sightseeing. It is smart but very comfortable. I got it in Reiss in York Outlet about two years ago and I wore it the day after my wedding. It has a huge sentimental value for me so I hope you will like it too !!

Siena has so much charm and beauty that and I really hope that I will be able to go back there one day in the very near future.

Be my guest and enjoy this truly spectacular Italian city !!
