I am very fortunate to live in the countryside and be surrounded by a large number of beautiful manor houses with very rich history. As a result, every so often we like to go somewhere new and explore… This particular Sunday we went to Brodsworth Hall and Gardens which dates back to 1860s.
It is known for being one of the most complete examples of Victorian country houses in the whole of England. As much as I liked the house, I have to say it needs extensive renovations. They are costly and only so much can be done at one time. On the other hand, the grounds were spectacular. Everything is so well-kept, it was a true pleasure to take a walk and admire the beautifully manicured lawns and seasonal plants.
For this outgoing I decided to wear my new dress I got few weeks ago. It is made from beautiful and delicate fabric in very pale shade of blue. I do not have anything else like this in my wardrobe and when I saw it, I knew it was a winner.
As the summer in UK is coming to an end very soon, I pair the dress with this distressed leather jacket for a little bit of contrast and the pair of sandals I simply adore. I like the look I have put together and I hope you will like it too !!
