The last few weeks weather in UK has been a constant unknown… One day it would be raining, the other it would be snowing. The unpredictability of these conditions makes the whole country to stop and a very difficult task to take any pictures for my outfit diaries…
The ones seen today were taken on a very foggy Sunday morning so apologies in advance for lack of sunshine and lighter clothing. The combination shown in here is nothing new as I already worn most of the items individually.
Although more autumn appropriate, I could not resist to style this military style coat yet again (previous attempts can be found here and here). This time I paired with very unusual for me jumper and pencil leather skirt which over the last few months became a real staple in my wardrobe.
I love how this warm combination of colours goes with my red lipstick and my slightly darker then usual hair colour. I enjoy trying new things and today’s post is a result of this !

I really hope that next week I will be able to show you much more Spring-like outfit !!
Thank you very much for stopping by and I hope to see you all very soon…
I rarely do romantic outfits mainly because I prefer more masculine clothing and that style comes much more naturally to me. But somehow I felt like wearing something different for this outgoing. Simple dress although black with floral print paired with my favourite high-heeled boots was a match made in heaven.
To stay true to myself, I added this military-style coat that is probably my most loved and most worn high-street purchase that I have ever made. I bought it well over a year ago and wore it on repeat since (more outfit ideas featuring this particular coat available here and here).
Classic Chanel flap bag is always a good idea and although I do not feature this bag a lot on my blog, it was for a very long time my biggest purchase ever. As it is a seasonal bag, I did manage to stay within my financial boundaries but the decision to pull the trigger and buy it, was not an easy one. Investing you hard-earned cash in accessories and shoes can be daunting and I will do my best to feature some of my suggestions in the coming posts !
So that is what I wore Sunday (romantic style) !

Thank you very much for yet another Sunday !
I love sharing my outfit ideas with you all and I hope you like it too…
This year birthday celebration was particularly special. Not only it was my birthday last week, but also it is a year today since I published my first post. So may things happened in the past twelve months that I cannot stop feeling and expressing the gratitude towards my nearest and dearest as well as all of my friends and colleagues.
The biggest lesson I have learnt so far is to not to be afraid to pursue my dreams and take actions. Nothing will happen just by hoping that it will happen. Life is too short to regret not taking opportunities and dwell on the negatives. And one more thing that I incorporated in my life… never envy, take inspirations instead !
For my birthday celebration I wore very simple (nearly all black) outfit. I am going through a phase of wearing all black and I have to admit that I enjoy it very much. I have added a deep green dress to the look to make it more vibrant and colourful. As it is a wool dress it does creases very easily so apologies for that…
You will know by now that I love a statement lipstick and this deep red is my colour of choice. I am very tempted to try more statement shades so watch this space !

As I treat this blog as a form of a diary, my original intention was to do it for one year only. I am considering my options but nevertheless thank you very much for sticking up with me for the last twelve months and your constant support and encouragement !
Inability to compromise when it comes to fashion buys, is deeply rooted in my nature. Once I discover something that will be a good addition to my closet, I find it extremely difficult to let the idea of buying the piece go… That was exactly what have happened when I discovered Stuart Weitzman over-the-knee boots !
They are without the shadow of the doubt the most expensive and the most extravagant purchase I have ever made but they are at the same time worth every single penny. As I was lucky enough to get the second pair of the same boot, this time in heeled version as a part of my Christmas present, I decided to film a video discussing their pros and cons as well as some styling ideas and my honest opinion of their usability and value for money.
I think that for all the fashion lovers out there, this video will be useful and will give you a better idea of what you can expect for your money. I have not been disappointed so far and I know that you will not be as well !!
Please let me know if you find this comparison useful and if it something you would like me include in the future schedule…
As usual thank you very much for stopping by and all your likes and comments !
Starting new year, month or week gives me the sense of opportunity to reflect and think about where I am heading. This year I really took time to stop for a minute and try to put my priorities right. What is important to me and what matters most… I really hope that this reflection will accompany me for the rest of the year and I would hope to share my findings with you in the near future…
Pictures for today’s post were taken at the end of last year on one of the festive days. Streets were empty and I had a chance to put on an outfit I wanted to try for quite some time now. I was very fortunate to receive these over the knee boots as a Christmas present and they are everything and more of what I hoped for. Very high and flattering with the beautiful finish and to top it all up comfortable enough to wear them all day long.
I have paired them with one of my favourite dresses and a coat that have been in my possession for well over five years now. Every time I wear it, somebody will always comment on it and as it was a sale purchase, I can definitely say it was a money well spent !
So without further delay that is what I wore that Sunday !

Thank you very much for stopping by and once again Happy New Year to you all !!
This post will be the last one from beautiful Cambridge. Second day of our stay could not be more perfect. The sun was shining, sky was blue and it was surprisingly warm for this time of the year.
As I am determined to try new things I came across this dress when I was in my local Zara. I saw it on one of the sales assistants and I instantly knew it could work for me. It looks more expensive than it is and it incorporates the hottest trend at the minute ruffles without being over the top. It is quite short but styled appropriately with tights and brogues it can work for my professional responsibilities.
I have paired this dress with my favourite over-the-knee boots that I got at the beginning of the winter season. I can confirm that it was one of the best investments I have ever made. They are not cheap but the quality is amazing and the are extremely versatile. They come in variety of colours and heel heights so everyone can find something to suit their style.
I finished my outfit with my brushed leather jacket and trusted wallet on chain. I felt that everything worked together really well and it made me feel dressed appropriately and put together.
Cambridge is so beautiful, full of hidden treasures and corners so exploring that beauty was a huge pleasure.
I am particularly proud of the pictures my husband took. Happiness is extremely difficult to capture but I think we managed to give it a good try.
