What I wore Sunday… quiet village life

I had a chance to go to Manchester last week and although I love going there for shopping and to get the chance to experience big city, I could not have been more happy to go home at the end of the day. Hustle and bustle are good for a short break but the noise, traffic and crowds are something that I left behind quite some time ago.

The outfit for this outgoing is anything but glamorous. I wanted to feel comfortable and that was my priority. Jeans and t-shirt are hardly ground breaking but there is nothing wrong in classic combinations.

You may remember this bomber jacket from last year’s post (available here). I have been wearing it a lot since I got it and although I had some initial reservations to the style and its suitability, it worked out very well for me.

That is what I wore Sunday (relaxed style) !!

What I wore Sunday… my usual self

Some of my most comfortable outfit combinations come together by accident. I usually have a think about what I want to wear in advance but somehow when I go to the wardrobe I tend to change my mind.

This look is a perfect example of that. It is an effortless outfit that came together within minutes and I will repeatedly wear throughout Spring months. I love how neutral it is and how good it makes me feel.

The real star however is this blazer that you may remember from my previous post (available here). I got it on sale from H&M for less than £10 after Christmas but somehow it s still available if you want to check it out… It is such a comfortable fit and style that I would recommend to have in your closet. As I am not really a blazer person, I am surprised myself how much I like it.

That is what I wore Sunday evening !

What I wore Sunday… warmer days

In anticipation for warmer days I have been making a list of all the outfits I would like to wear this Spring. I do not plan what I am going to wear religiously but writing this list helped me to prioritize and keep my shopping cravings at bay.

The outfit I am showing you today was number one on the list. It is very simple, nothing groundbreaking but it incorporates one of my favourite trends for this season… check ! Checked trousers, skirts, blazers or coats are everywhere this Spring and as they hardly ever go out of fashion they are worth investing in !

The rest of the outfit is very me- leather jacket, comfortable yet statement shoes and a classic red lipstick. I love putting things that do not belong together like office appropriate trousers and biker jacket and make them work to make me feel comfortable.

I cannot wait show you some more of the outfits of the list but until then that is what I wore Sunday !

What I wore Sunday… my world

I have spoken about living in the countryside quite a few times already but I will come back to it one more time… The sense of peace and comfort is something that I treasure the most. No busy roads, traffic, trams and crowds. That is why I love where I am so much…

I need to have my own space and although I always knew that, it took me quite some time to figure out that I need to be outside of the city. The hassle and bustle are good for a day but I do think it is for me on the daily basis.

For this autumnal walk, I have decided to wear my favourite coat I got two seasons ago. It is a pricy thing but so worth the money in my opinion. Parka coats are incredible for winter as they are excellent for layering and they come with a hood which is very needed if live in England…

As I wanted to be warm, I added the simplest of cashmere sweaters you can think of. It is thick enough to keep me comfortable without feeling bulky and impractical. Simplicity is the key for me and I hope you will like what I have put together.

That is the outfit for this what I wore Sunday !!
