As you know from last week’s post prints are not my first choice when it comes to an outfit selection. However, every now and again I come across the piece that I just cannot resist. This is another skirt that stole my heart and I waited for nearly a year to share it with you.
I bought it from Zara and although it is quite difficult to style I knew I have to get it. It has a very unusual cut and in general is much bolder than my usual outfits. My skirt is sold out but I will do my best to find similar options available right now.
The rest of the outfit is minimal and all black. Good quality t-skirt, my favourite pair of sandals and a clutch bag that I wear on repeat. Investing in accessories that will stay with me for a very long time a key in my mind and I often resist buying things for one or two seasons.
Without further delay that is what I wore Sunday !

If you follow my blog for a while, you may know that prints in general are not my strength. As a result, animal prints take it to the whole new level for me. However, when I saw this skirt, I knew I have to buy it. It is not only extremely well-made for the price but also very flattering and inspired me to try something that I have not tried before. I have asked you on my Instagram account what do you think about it and I have to admit that there were some strong opinions out there !
With such a statement piece in the outfit, everything else had to be pretty basis. White t-skirt, my favourite sandals and bag that remains one of the best handbags I have every bought. Versatile enough to be worn day and night that seems to go with most of my outfits.
All the pictures for today’s post were taken in one of the gardens in nearby village during tulip festival. I love flowers and visiting that garden made me really happy.
That is what I wore (animal print) Sunday !
T-shirt & Other Stories
Skirt & Other Stories (sold out)

Thank you very much for stopping by and I hope that despite some reservation to the print some of you may have, you liked the look.
I hope to see you all very soon !
I had a chance to go to Manchester last week and although I love going there for shopping and to get the chance to experience big city, I could not have been more happy to go home at the end of the day. Hustle and bustle are good for a short break but the noise, traffic and crowds are something that I left behind quite some time ago.
The outfit for this outgoing is anything but glamorous. I wanted to feel comfortable and that was my priority. Jeans and t-shirt are hardly ground breaking but there is nothing wrong in classic combinations.
You may remember this bomber jacket from last year’s post (available here). I have been wearing it a lot since I got it and although I had some initial reservations to the style and its suitability, it worked out very well for me.
That is what I wore Sunday (relaxed style) !!
T-shirt Tee & Cake (sold out)
Jacket Lukasz Jemiol
Sneakers Golden Goose

I really hope that weather in UK improves enough for me to show you more Summer appropriate pieces in the coming weeks…
Taking pictures on a Sunday became a tradition now. My husband stopped protesting and even bought a new lens… The ones that you will see today are a couple of weeks old when the weather was still more like summer than autumn. Since then UK started preparing for colder season with new stock in every clothing shop. Days are shorter and shorter and unfortunately it is colder than I would have liked.
For this outgoing I decided to go very casual and I hope you will not be disappointed by what you see. Probably not the most adventurous of outfits but it feels completely me. My favourite pair of jeans and the t-shirt I bought some time ago that has that perfect, more flattering fit. I could not resist and wore the new pair of espadrilles (first shown here) which in my opinion add that special something to this look.
However, the best part of that Sunday outgoing was the view. I have never been to this port before, but it completely blew me away. The colours and the light were truly perfect. This particular type of light is so difficult to capture, delicate yet powerful and used perfectly lets you shine…
So that is what I Wore (this casual) Sunday !!
Thank you very much for stopping by and see you all very soon xx
Out of all the UK cities, I think I visit York the most. There are many reasons for that but if I was to pick one it would be due to its charm and beauty. I love the tiny, cobbled streets and lots of boutique cafes and shops including my favourite brands like Kiehl’s, Jo Malone, Whistles or Mulberry.
We visited York during Bank Holiday weekend last week and it was full of people. The weather was fabulous and we decided to do exact opposite and rather than going into town, head to the canal and observe life from the distance. We had some luck as the sun came out and we managed to take these pictures, which are probably one of my favourites ever.
You may remember that I already wore this dress, quite some time ago when I was just starting my blogging adventure (check it out here). It is much more feminine and delicate that I would normally go for but somehow I like it like that. I pair it with my trusty bag that has been my favourite for some time now and really old espadrilles that I got in Spain about six years ago.
Without further delay that is what I wore that Sunday…
Dress Topshop (similar here and here)
Espadrilles Maria Victoria (made in Spain)

I was waiting for some time to wear this dress. I remember when I first saw it less than a year ago I instantly knew it would make a good statement piece. I got in Zara in Bangkok and without the shadow of the doubt it was the most unusual souvenir I have ever got !
Gingham is big this season… When I looked for a similar dress to link to this post, I have realised that there are so many dresses available on the market for all types of budgets. It is a statement dress for me but I know that with appropriate accessories it can be dress up or down according to the occasion. If I was to advise on the one to go for, I would always go for the one with thicker fabric made out of natural materials available on the hight street. As it is quite a memorable piece, it is not worth in my opinion spending a fortune on with so many budget options available !
I did my research and as I like gingham so much I thought I will link some of my favourite gingham dresses available now… Zara, Topshop, slightly more pricy Cos or less known in UK Loft !
I am so happy summer is finally here and I can wear less layers and that somehow that gives me a courage to be more adventurous with my outfits… I hope to show you some more statement pieces in the coming weeks and be able to show them here !
So that is what I wore Sunday !!
Dress Zara (sold out)
Bag Anya Hindmarch (I got mine from here)
Flats French Sole
I really hope you like what I have prepared for today !!
Many thanks for stopping by and see you soon xx
Some things are just meant to be and the cover picture is a result of that. When we decided to go out that day (my first encounter with Jamaican food !!) and take few pictures of my outfit I have no idea that we will come across this graffiti.
I had this Whistles dress (I call it bee dress) for about four or five years. I wore it to one or two occasions but as it is silk and quite dressy I never felt it was appropriate to wear. I am so glad that I took it out of my closet just to remind myself how much I love it. The material is beautiful and the print is so on point at the minute…
I have pair it with my staples- classic clutch bag and my newest obsession plexi pumps that I manage to get on absolute budget. More on that story available here.
I love to look through my wardrobe and recycle over and over again just to discover how much each of this purchases mean to me ! I would encourgae evrybody to buy quality things that you truly love as much as I love this dress.
So without further delay that is what I wore Sunday !
