As promised yesterday I am coming back with the second post this weekend (part 1 available to view here). I am styling my latest find pleated skirt bought in & Other Stories.
This time I am pairing it with a cosy jumper from the same brand. Two different fabrics that not necessary go together in my mind make a perfect match.
As I live in a very windy part of UK I have decided to take an advantage of the situation and push it even further. Massive steel bridge, blue sky, wind that is all I had in mind when preparing to take these pictures.
I am not a huge fan of mixing metals so I styled my outfit with all silver accessories… watch, vintage clutch and my wedding shoes. These shoes are definitely a statement pair and they have been in my wardrobe for over two years. I got them on Net-A-Porter sale when I was preparing for our wedding. I would risk a statement that they are the most comfortable pair of heels I own. I think that is due to the fact that they are cushioned from inside and the heel height is perfect for my liking.
Enjoy and let me know which of the looks you prefer ?
I am not a girl who dreamed about getting married since my childhood years. When I met my future husband we started building our relationship from scratch and it slowly developed into livelong partnership. After nine years together we decided it is a time to tie a knot and I would not change a thing.
My husband contacted truly amazing wedding planning agency Perfect Dayand they helped us organising our day. The whole credit should go to Monika the wedding planner from that agency. We got married in Poland in beautiful city of Krakow. It was a small church wedding with our nearest family and friends. I still remember the happiness of the day and how beautiful and sunny it was. We had our reception in the most intimate and private hotel Copernicus with every detail planned to perfection. Everyone that was invited to the wedding stayed overnight with us so we could celebrate together.
Wedding planning agency was a true live saver. As we both work full-time and the wedding was taking place in Poland it took some organisation and team effort to put everything in place but what we got in return is far more valuable… Beautiful memories and pictures that make us truly happy.
Be our wedding guest !!!
My eighty year old grandma is my best friend. I think she was more stressed that me as if it was her own wedding day…
With my proud dad… This beautiful dress I am wearing is by Polish fashion designer Gosia Baczynska. She is known for her unusual fabrics, beautiful laces and visible cuts.
I was really pleased with my choice and I still stand by my decision. My dress was made out of wool which is seems like a strange choice for a wedding dress. But it did work !
As I mention before the wedding reception took place in the beautiful Copernicus Hotel. We stayed there all weekend I cannot fault anything. It makes me truly proud to have that quality of service in my home country !
All of the pictures shown here were taken by extremely talented Adam Trzcionka.
I cannot imagine anybody else taking our wedding pictures. They are everything and more I could have asked for.
I hope You enjoyed reading this post as much I have enjoyed preparing it !
My shoe obsession started some time ago… cannot remember when ? Maybe with the first pair of good quality, nicely finish pair of high-heels ? I still have then and they are in very good condition.. The pair I am referring to is L.K. Bennet pumps, about four inches high, very comfortable.. After this pair, there was another pair, then one more and so on.
As the obsession developed my desire for a new pair every month seems difficult to control. I can go a long time browsing and looking for a suitable addition to my collection but my favourite ever purchases are related to a special occasion, people I share my memories with and travel.
Let me take You to a trip round the glob for my best shoe-related moments !
As everyday life can get hard it is easier to have something to come back to Your loved ones, Your home and a closet full of shoes.. I love mine for the joy and memories they bring to my mind every time I wear that special pair. Don’t save them for that special occasion that may never come.. Enjoy them daily !!
