Barcelona has been a surprising experience for me. It is bigger, more noisy and prettier than expected. Nearly ever corner is just picture perfect and the views are to die for !
We stayed in Yurbban Passage Hotel and I would recommend it without the doubt. It has an amazing terrace with the fantastic pool, the rooms are very comfortable and the location is very central without being on a noisy road. It is also fairly close to one of my favourite streets in Barcelona Passeig de Gracia. Known for its famous buildings, it is also a home to some awesome shops if you are looking for a spot for some retail therapy…
As for the outfit of the day, it was simple but I loved how it felt and wore. Neutral colours and more statement top that I managed to get on massive discount (!) went perfect with white sneakers and classic pair of jeans. As it was the middle of the winter, I could not believe how warm and sunny Barcelona was !
So without further delay that is what I wore last Sunday !

I hope to see you all soon,
Autumn seems to be a favourite season of most people and I am no exception. I love the leaves and their change in colours and something about cosy nights in. I love the knitwear, scarfs and the chance to change my wardrobe and go back to the things I loved so much last year.
Surprisingly, despite late October it still feels fairly warm where I live. I have not worn a single coat yet and may leave it until November. So today’s outfit is not particularly season focused, it is something I feel comfortable wearing all year round. Leather jacket and a pair of skinny jeans are just easy to dress up or down and something that I relay on a lot. Adding my favourite pair of sneakers and slouchy knit and I am ready to go !
If there was only one item of clothing, I would recommend to get for autumn it would be a classic knit. It can be colour and style of your choice, made out of quality fabric that will last season after season. The excitement of taking it out and wearing it again after the summer will make it even more special next year.
So that is what I wore this autumnal Sunday !

I am not too keen on occasion shopping when it comes to outfits. It is easy to make a mistake when under time pressure and buy an outfit just for the sake of getting something new. Having staples that will serve more than one occasion is a key for me.
I bought this little navy dress on sample sale quite a few years ago. It is maybe more fitted than I would have liked but hopefully I can still make it work. It would be ideal for most of the formal outgoings like weddings, christenings or special birthdays and anniversaries.
I have paired it with one of my favourite pumps in my collection. Surprisingly comfortable for the heel hight, they go well with pretty much everything. The clutch bag is more of a statement item but gives something edgy to this otherwise simple outfit. I bought it about seven years ago and although I do not wear it often enough, I do not have any intention of ever parting my ways with it.
So that is what I wore one very formal Sunday !

There is a new video on my channel as of today showing you everything I have been loving in August !! I would really appreciate if you check it out…
Shopping on the high street can be a very good experience, not only because items are generally more affordable but also due to some amazing quality finds. There are a lot of pieces that are not worth your time and money but if you look a little bit deeper, you will find some treasures.
The dress shown today is from H&M and it comes from collaboration between the clothing giant and the fabric designer GP & J Baker. They are famous for their prints and with more than 100 years of tradition, the collection does not disappoint.
When I saw this dress first, I was not sure if the style was something that would suit me but when I tried it I knew instantly that I love it. Wrap dress as a style is completely new to me but with this dress being such a hit, I will shop it in the future.
The rest of the outfit is nothing that you have not seen before. My trusted pair of sandals and a cross-body bag that goes well with most of my outfits.
So that is all I wore last Sunday !

Summer is made for dresses and with such a nice weather in the whole of Europe, I am taking full advantage of that situation every single day. More often that not, I stay away from vibrant colours but the dress shown today is one of the exceptions.
When I first saw it, I loved it instantly but decided against buying it due to the price. I debated for quite some time and when I eventually got it, I knew instantly that it was a very good decision.
If you follow me for a while, you may know that I like things that last. Made out of natural fabrics with maybe slightly higher price point but that will serve their purpose season after season. Despite common believe and what I may show you on my blog, label does not matter. I am very keen on supporting and discovering smaller brands with right work ethics and using responsibly sources fabrics so if you have any recommendations let me know !
Moving to the outfit shown today it is nothing new but it feels comfortable and serves the purpose. The dress combined with my favourite bag this season and a pair of black espadrilles is all I could come up with and I like it a lot…

Thank you very much for stopping by and I hope you will have amazing week ahead !
Wearing only one colour from head to toes can be very tricky and I would not normally recommend to do it. Having said that I had this particular outfit in mind for a very long time and I just waited for the weather to warm up. Besides whites, blacks and greys blue is the colour I wear the most. Something about it screams out to me and makes me feel comfortable and put together.
As I have mentioned before, I wanted to pair these two items (shirt and skirt) for a while. I think that although they are both quite cool toned blue pieces, they work together well due to texture differences. Pleated midi skirt seems to be my personal must have when it comes to summer wardrobe and as you may know I have quite a collection… (more available here and here).
Before I show you my final look, I wanted to mention that this What I wore Sunday will be the last one for such a regular schedule. I have published a new look every week for more than a year now and I feel like I need to updated my timetable. I am still going to be doing weekly outfit posts every now and again but maybe doing it once a month with all my Instagram looks would be much more interesting ?
Please let me know what would you like to see from me and what are your suggestions ?

May came and gone like most of the months this year. I have been occupied with various projects both work and personal life related. Although I am very happy I have the opportunity to experience so many things, I am getting to the point where I just want to rest and switch off.
Waiting and planning for the coming holidays (that are still a long way to go) is something that gives me equal pleasure of actually going on one. Building up the expectation, looking at budgets and variety of accommodation options is so satisfying for me. Are you the same ?
Your favourite post of last month was a summary of what I have been doing in April (available here if you missed it). I am very happy that you are enjoying my monthly summaries as these post give me a great opportunity to look back at different things and reflect.
If I was to choose my favourite post, it would be a look featuring the most unusual for me skirt (available here). The only thing I am going to say about it is to never say ever as the life goes on and things change !
May have been a good month when it comes to movies for me. I went to the cinema on number on occasions and out of everything I watched, I would highly recommend seeing Tully if you have not watched it already. Motherhood is not something that I know anything of, however honesty and openness is always a key to me and this movie gives you just that.
Another thing I have been enjoying in May is warmer weather. UK is not the best of places (especially North of England) if you are after proper summer. Having said that we had nice few weeks and I had a change to wear something more time of the year appropriate !
How was you month of May been like ?
As usual, that you very much for stopping by and I hope to see you soon !
Ps. An amazing state house that you can see on the featured image can be found here if you are interested. Unfortunately, it is not my house… just in case you were wondering !
