I have been keeping quiet for the last few months due to work and other life commitments. Having said that I missed taking pictures and coming out with new outfit ideas so much so that I decided to come back !
The beginning of the year provides the ideal opportunity for new and maybe fresher start. No unrealistic resolutions for me though just enjoying what I am doing and simply being happy. It is easier said than done but I am determined to give it a go !
As for the outfit that you see today, it is all about simplicity. My favourite colour palette, classic patterns and accessories that last more than season or two. Greys and blues are written all over me and I just feel the most comfortable wearing them.
The only new item of clothing for this post is this amazing Zara coat. I saw it when I went to the shops couple of days before and I just could not resist. It is probably the most muscular of coats I own but as it was the love of first sight, I had to have it…
So that is what I wore Sunday !
Coat Zara (also very similar here)
Jumper Whistles (very old)
Jeans Paige (similar)
Boots Isabel Marant (similar)
All the best for the New Year to you all !!
I hope 2019 will be healthy, happy and the one to remember x
Thank you very much for stopping by and following my blog.
As you know from last week’s post prints are not my first choice when it comes to an outfit selection. However, every now and again I come across the piece that I just cannot resist. This is another skirt that stole my heart and I waited for nearly a year to share it with you.
I bought it from Zara and although it is quite difficult to style I knew I have to get it. It has a very unusual cut and in general is much bolder than my usual outfits. My skirt is sold out but I will do my best to find similar options available right now.
The rest of the outfit is minimal and all black. Good quality t-skirt, my favourite pair of sandals and a clutch bag that I wear on repeat. Investing in accessories that will stay with me for a very long time a key in my mind and I often resist buying things for one or two seasons.
Without further delay that is what I wore Sunday !
Skirt Zara (similar style here and here )
Shoes Gianvito Rossi
Bag Chanel (similar)
Sunglasses Miu Miu
I hope you are all having fantastic weekend and equally stress-free and sunny week ahead.

Thank you very much for stopping by and see you all soon !
I rarely do romantic outfits mainly because I prefer more masculine clothing and that style comes much more naturally to me. But somehow I felt like wearing something different for this outgoing. Simple dress although black with floral print paired with my favourite high-heeled boots was a match made in heaven.
To stay true to myself, I added this military-style coat that is probably my most loved and most worn high-street purchase that I have ever made. I bought it well over a year ago and wore it on repeat since (more outfit ideas featuring this particular coat available here and here).
Classic Chanel flap bag is always a good idea and although I do not feature this bag a lot on my blog, it was for a very long time my biggest purchase ever. As it is a seasonal bag, I did manage to stay within my financial boundaries but the decision to pull the trigger and buy it, was not an easy one. Investing you hard-earned cash in accessories and shoes can be daunting and I will do my best to feature some of my suggestions in the coming posts !
So that is what I wore Sunday (romantic style) !
Coat Zara (similar)
Boots Stuart Weitzman
Thank you very much for yet another Sunday !
I love sharing my outfit ideas with you all and I hope you like it too…
I feel like August was a good month for me. Not everything I set to achieve happened but that is what life is all about. Expecting unexpected is something that I always keep in mind !
What August has taught me is to stand my ground and believe in myself more. Self-confidence is something that I have to work on constantly with some days being better than the others but I think I am winning xx
Fashion-wise it was a very adventurous month. I made few purchases, some of which you may had a chance to see on the blog or my Instagram account.
My favourite new thing would have to be a pair of espadrilles from Castaner (first shown here). They are the most classic pair, exceptionally made and they will stay in my closet for a very long time !
Another thing worth mentioning is this Zara set, I got at the end of the month. I was eyeing this knit from the moment I first saw it but the shirt was a total surprise. I am not a huge fan of the prints, especially 70s inspired but somehow I could stop myself from trying it on. The end result is quite obvious on this picture !
Statistic-wise two most popular blog posts of last month would be from What I wore Sunday series Country life is never boring followed closely by Hollywood glamour. Interestingly, my personal favourite would be the end of the month for July. Looking back on the last thirty days, gives me sense of satisfaction and achievement.
I have also added an additional feature to my blog. It is called Shop my closet and you can find it in the main panel next to menu and contact links. I will try to list all my new finds as well as some timeless pieces from my wardrobe in case you are interested !!
Finally, I am really looking forward to September. The beginning of a new season as well as my wedding anniversary makes that month really special. I have one or two things planned that will come as a surprise so stay tuned for that !!
As usual thank you very much for stopping by and for all the interest and support xx
Hope to see you all soon,
I was waiting for some time to wear this dress. I remember when I first saw it less than a year ago I instantly knew it would make a good statement piece. I got in Zara in Bangkok and without the shadow of the doubt it was the most unusual souvenir I have ever got !
Gingham is big this season… When I looked for a similar dress to link to this post, I have realised that there are so many dresses available on the market for all types of budgets. It is a statement dress for me but I know that with appropriate accessories it can be dress up or down according to the occasion. If I was to advise on the one to go for, I would always go for the one with thicker fabric made out of natural materials available on the hight street. As it is quite a memorable piece, it is not worth in my opinion spending a fortune on with so many budget options available !
I did my research and as I like gingham so much I thought I will link some of my favourite gingham dresses available now… Zara, Topshop, slightly more pricy Cos or less known in UK Loft !
I am so happy summer is finally here and I can wear less layers and that somehow that gives me a courage to be more adventurous with my outfits… I hope to show you some more statement pieces in the coming weeks and be able to show them here !
So that is what I wore Sunday !!
Dress Zara (sold out)
Bag Anya Hindmarch (I got mine from here)
Flats French Sole
I really hope you like what I have prepared for today !!
Many thanks for stopping by and see you soon xx
Today I wanted to share with you day to-night outfit that will work (with few adjustments) for professional and more casual occasions. White blouse with beautiful lace detail plus fitted trousers (coated jeans in my case for slightly more edgy look) will take you from early morning to evening. As the temperature in the UK is still in low tens I had to add the coat… It is a staple I could not live without so much so that I have this coat in four slightly different styles and fabrics (one featured here).
The rest of the outfit is very simple. Bag that I had in my possession for over five years that is worth every penny I have paid for it. It works perfectly as a work and travel companion and I hope it will serve that purpose for many years to come. I have also added my favourite flats and classic sunglasses that I keep in my car for every eventuality.
What I like about the outfit I am showing you is its simplicity and versatility. Drop the jeans and add pencil skirt and the outfit will pass the test even in the most corporate of places. Change the coat for leather jacket and You can go out for the night out.
So that is how I wore it on Sunday !
Blouse The Kooples (new season here)
Coat Zara (new season here)
Jeans Belstaff (sold out)
Flats Alexander McQueen (sold out)
Thank You so much for stopping by !!

As You know from my previous post, I had a pleasure of visiting Cambridge last weekend. It was a really good trip and we mixed pleasure with work and took some pictures for my blog.
The outfit in question was put together in reference to my Trends March 2017 blog post.
I wanted to feature both sleeve detail and logo t-shirt to show You how things can be mixed and matched. Khaki seems to be a colour of choice for this season and together with ruffles on the sleeves this jacket is a perfect combination. I bought it from Zara as it was too difficult to resist and I have no regrets. The quality of the material is exceptional and I know it will be a staple in my wardrobe for many years to come.
The t-shirt that I am wearing is from Kenzo and I got it about two years ago. I love the fabric and how durable it is. It was definitely a good investment and again no regrets.
As for the rest of the outfit.. Trousers are from Belstaff (the brand I have not tried on before). They are very thick, waxed pair of jeans with interesting cuts in all the right places. They are also surprisingly comfortable and I would happily wear them all day long. Handbag and shoes are my long-time companions. I have always wanted a pair of Alaia sandals and never in my life I expected to own a pair..
I hope You will all enjoy the pictures and get some outfit inspirations. I wished we could take the pictures on much more sunny day but as I am UK-based the weather is not always picture-friendly !
T-shirt Kenzo (similar)
Trouser Belstaff (sold out)
Sandals Alaia (sold out)
Many thanks for stopping by and see You soon !
